What is IASIS MCN?
Microcurrent Neurofeedback involves small pulses of energy (150 millivolts for 120 nanoseconds) sent to your brain to assist in retraining it to relax and break those fight-or-flight response patterns. The process is both simple and non-invasive, and although treatment packages typically consist of 12 or more sessions, each session lasts only about 45 minutes. As a result, it offers a convenient and effective way to help restore balance to the brain.
Following a brief assessment with our technician to evaluate your stress and anxiety levels, you will receive a personalized treatment plan tailored to your specific needs.
How is neurofeedback performed?
Your technician will first clean the lead sites and place them to begin treatment. Then, small signals—much weaker than the signals emitted by your cell phone in your hand or pocket—are sent to calm the brain and reduce stress levels. Throughout the process, you will have the opportunity to observe your current brainwaves before, during, and after the treatment, allowing you to track your progress in real-time.
How many microcurrent neurofeedback sessions do I need?
Your individual treatment will be specifically tailored to your unique needs; however, over time, we have observed long-term results. Notably, these include decreased anxiety and stress levels, improved sleep patterns, and enhanced brain function, focus, and memory, just to name a few.
