I see Rosalinda Orta, usually weekly or biweekly, and my 8 year-old daughter sees Jann Anguish as needed. We have both had really great experiences all around with KDCC. Scheduling is easy and straightforward. We have personally never had KDCC cancel an appointment on us in the 1.5 years that we’ve been coming here. Both Jann and Rosalinda are punctual, extremely friendly, and relate to us in a way that I have not found in other counseling services in the past. It’s hard to find a counselor you connect with, and that becomes even harder to do when you’re looking specifically for a counselor who has a Christian worldview that they work into their services. I have had tremendous improvement and positive change in my life for the issues I have been seeking help on, and I highly recommend KDCC to anyone looking for a relatable, compassionate Christian counselor.

I wanted to talk about how much therapy has helped me. I have searched for a good Christian therapist for many years. I feel very blessed to have found Kingdom Dwelling and Sandra Amado. When I sought therapy I was suffering daily with a high level of anxiety. Since starting therapy with Sandra my anxiety level has dropped from a 10 to 2 and 3’s. I would love to say that I am cured, but I think I will always have to live with anxiety, but never again at such a high level. Sandra has given me the tools to help me manage it when it comes up. This has to be the best counseling practice I’ve ever seen! I’ve had a few sessions with LPC Rosalinda in the past, and she was such a blessing and life saver (literally) when I was struggling with post-partum depression. After recurrent miscarriages and childhood trauma/anxiety, I began seeing LPC Sandra Amado via video sessions last year, around October 2021. I appreciated being able to receive counseling from the comfort of my own home. I speak English fluently; however, I prefer to speak my native Spanish language on occasion, primarily when I need to express my feelings/emotions. For the person who despises crying! I think most of my sessions with her involved me crying my eyes out, but Sandra made me feel so at ease and understood. I never felt judged, she is very knowledgeable, and I appreciate how she made sure our sessions went exactly as planned. Our sessions were unquestionably led by the Holy Spirit. I haven’t seen her in a while due to my current hectic work schedule, but I definitely intend to return. I still follow what she taught me to this day. I also make a point of passing on her name and the name of this practice to anyone in need of counseling. Sandra, thank you for being such a huge blessing in my life. –Holy spirit driven! You can hear, see, and feel the love of Christ working through Rosalinda. Results are absolute peace, grace, and mercy and best of all LOVE!

Update to my review from Jan. 2022: I recently finished EMDR therapy with Rosalinda Orta after about a year focusing our sessions on that process, and I am beyond ecstatic to say my past is in the past and is not affecting my present or my future anymore. As a survivor of abuse and trauma, I didn’t think I would ever be “done with counseling” but processing through my past memories with Rosalinda truly changed how I see those memories today and the impact they have on my present life. Previous review: I started seeing Rosalinda Orta over 4 years ago dealing with several family and relationship issues that were quite overwhelming. Over the years she has shown me empathy and care. The guidance and perception she provides in our sessions has helped me resolve many issues. When new ones arise I always know where to go so I can gain beneficial insight and put things into proper perspective that makes everything more manageable. She also briefly counseled my son as a teenager and he was very comfortable with her. She has always been very professional and willing to accommodate my scheduling needs. The office has always contacted me as soon as they could to reschedule if Rosalinda ever needed to do so for sickness or other emergencies. We have recently started EMDR therapy and I am pleasantly surprised at the results and appreciate her guidance through the process.

April is an excellent counselor and is very attentive to her patient’s needs. She really makes you feel cared for! She truly listens to every detail of your life and gives you gold advice when it comes to managing stress. Your goals are important to her. I started seeing Rosalinda about a year ago, I tried several counselors before finding her and has been God sent. I’ve never felt so understood and accepted by a counselor like I do with her, I’ve never felt judgement from her. We recently started EMDR and I can say that it’s changed my life completely.
